My Early Singing Career
My apologies for not staying on top of
updating this page. Much has happened since I last wrote and I will
endeavor to fill in some details before long.
Suffice it to say, we
are doing well. We're in a new house, we love seeing our three grandkids
and God is good as usual. I'm still learning (sometimes the hard way)
and God is still patiently teaching.
I'm not sure of the
best way to keep you updated though. Here? Blog? Facebook? Technology is
changing so rapidly and I am striving to keep up, but . . . . . .
We continue to get good
response to "Lord of the Rings" as well as Errett's wedding song,
"October Leaves." You can go the the product page and order
a copy. Just print out the
order form and send it in.
We are still doing some singing but need
to keep it to weekends at this point as you can see from our schedule
page . So if you or someone you know could use a Ron & Haven
concert
in your area please let us know.

as we travel, preach and sing—that God will use us to meet
needs, to encourage and to point people to Him.

Dear Ron and Haven,
I was so happy to see you had a website! A VERY long time ago when I was
about 7 or 8 years old you performed at my church in Tucson, Arizona At
Christ United Methodist Church. It must have been around 1978. I think
of that performance often as I happily can still sing some of the songs
from the album my parents purchased. My question to you is how can I
obtain a recording of that album, I wish I could remember the name. It
was the album that had the song, Joy , Love , Peace, Patience and Joy.
Forgive me if I'm getting it wrong but that is the way it is stuck n my
mind. I find myself often just humming that verse even 31+ years later.
I would be forever grateful to have these songs again my home, there is
great sentimental value that surrounds the performance that night as
well as the songs. It was a memory that I have in my mind from childhood
that takes me to such happy times with my Father. He has since passed
away, almost 17 years now. If you can be of any assistance to leading me
in the right direction to find these songs again it would mean to me
more than words could express. I'm happy to pay what ever the cost. I
appreciate your time, thank you.

Just a note to say how much we enjoyed
having you participate in our Old Fashioned Preaching Rally. With ten
churches involved, I think I have heard from every one of them in the
past two days. Your music and preaching and interaction was a
blessing to so many. One man said, "It just would have been a shame
to have this revival without Ron and Haven - they brought something
special to the whole event!"
It was great to have some time together
with you both. You always inspire me . . . . We love you both and
will be praying for you.
